Security Meetings in Jordan to send Car Bombs to Southern Suburbs [Dahiyeh]

Preceding the explosion that occurred in the area of Bir AL Abed in Southern Suburbs, more than one media outlet citing a well-informed British source reported about "Regional Security meetings lastly held in Jordan to discuss the transfer of the battle to Hezbollah strongholds in Lebanon to force the party to pull away from Syria." According to the leaked information, delegates from Saudi, Jordanian, and American intelligence services; as well as a Lebanese Security apparatus in closely connection to March 14 coalition participated in these meetings. As also revealed, "The almost only clause that was on the agenda of the participants is to transfer the fight to Hezbollah strongholds;" including carrying out assassinations targeting the party’s civilian cadres, MPs, and political officials. It is well known that Hezbollah MPs and political officials are moving in Lebanon normally-on the opposite of ‘Hezbollah military apparatus’- and they participate in various social and political activities often without security convoys.

The Media outlet added, "The attendees of these meetings have decided a ‘work plan’ including sending car bombs from the inside Syrian territory to Southern Suburbs [Dahiyeh], Baalbek, and the major strongholds in South Lebanon."
