Trump advised to rewrite travel ban after failed court appeal

President Donald Trump faced his first major slap Thursday night when the three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously upheld a restraining order by a federal judge, which blocked his Executive Order for a temporary ban on entry to the US of nationals from seven terror-prone countries. In rejecting his appeal, the panel wrote: "The Government has pointed to no evidence that any alien from any of the countries named in the Order has perpetrated a terrorist attack in the United States." However, the fact is that in at least two cases, terrorist acts have been committed in the US by aliens from some of those countries. President Trump reacted to his first court defeat by tweeting: SEE YOU IN COURT, THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE! However several noted legal experts are urging him to avoid going to the Supreme Court for an inevitably drawn-pout battle, but instead to withdraw his original Executive Order and redraft a new one that would better hold up under court review.
